Don’t spoil it for me!

Happy Thursday!

Here is a question we get quite a lot:

In English, the literal translation is “burned the series” — in English we say “spoiled it.”

So for example, someone is telling you about a great show on Netflix (**imagines House of Cards**)– one could say “Hey, don’t spoil the plot for me!” or “don’t give away the ending!”– or, in writing, someone who is writing about a show could write “Spoiler Alert!” at the beginning of her article so that the reader knows the following text contains spoilers.

Hope this helps –it will coming as part of the new phrases added to our next app update- stay tuned!

Cheers,
