How would you explain "y" sounds using Arabic letters?
Hello everyone!
This post is for my English learners (and perhaps Arabic learners may find this useful as well!). About a year ago, I filmed a video on letters in the English alphabet and what their Arabic “equivalents” would be. It was an interesting challenge–as Arabic has “long vowels” and “short vowels.” Going through the sounds and letter combinations reminded me why I love these two languages so much.
